Brunel Professions Ltd has raised over £1,000 for worthy Manchester charity, 42nd Street.

On Tuesday 15th May, Brunel Professions hosted a ‘BIBA the Best’ night in line with BIBA 2018 to raise important funds for 42nd Street in Manchester.

Organised by Faye Maguire, Brunel, the evening saw a performance from a Tina Turner tribute followed by club classics until the nights end. The event was held at Barca Bar in Manchester which was well attended by approximately 70 insurers and solicitor partners.

42nd Street is an innovative young people’s charity supporting those aged 11-25 with their emotional wellbeing and mental health in a confidential manner.

In total, Brunel raised £1,200 for the charity throughout the evening including hosting a raffle for which local companies generously donated prizes. Prizes included a free game for 2-5 people at Breakout Manchester, a comedy voucher for 2 donated by Comedy Store and a Mexican meal for 8 supplied and cooked by one of Brunel’s directors, Sue Cooper.

Leonie Brown, finance manager at 42nd Street, contacted Brunel after the total raised was confirmed saying ‘this is incredible news and really appreciated. The funds will contribute to the development and delivery of our creative programme and our engagement work with young people over the summer via our group work offer.’

The event follows ‘BIBA Las Vegas’ which was held last year by Brunel and raised £1,890 for Alzheimer’s Society.
